In depth

Verdict

Beggars Cap gets the confident vote in the finale with Master Nimbus and Planters Punch rating the main dangers. The selection was a fair second behind Balakar last time out, form that has since been franked and off the same mark here under similar conditions he is hard to oppose. Master Nimbus rates the main danger on his latest second behind Front Rank but again he looks vulnerable under top weight. Planters Punch is another worthy of respect and could improve for the change of stables but he has shown little of late so can not be put forward with any confidence. Shropshirelass was a fair second behind Wooly Bully last time and is another with place claims but she looks weighted up to her best. Of the remainder, Guerilla has dropped to a handy mark and with his yard back amongst the winners he could go well at a price but for the winner we return to Beggars Cap who will be hard to beat.
