Nonrunner

In depth

Verdict

E STREET BOY had only been showing moderate form before landing a touch at Wincanton on Sunday in comfortable fashion. That event was confined to conditional riders so he escapes a penalty and David Pipe is striking while the iron is hot. Monty's Moon has always produced his best form on good or faster ground and bounced back with a very good run at Chepstow. He's 3lb higher but should still go well though it's The Composer who looks the main threat. Michael Blanshard's charge was having his 19th start over timber when scoring very easily at Ffos Las at the beginning of the month and though connections won't be happy with a 10lb rise he's run well from higher marks in the past. After landing a handicap at Taunton last month, Body Gold ran a shocker in a four-runner event at Ffos Las subsequently where he may have been feeling the effects of that previous victory.
