In depth

Verdict

SIZING IRELAND was beaten less than three lengths when favourite for a more competitive race over C&D last month. Nicky Henderson's gelding still has time on his side and should make amends today. Countess Susy may be next best if building on her placed effort behind Eastlake over 2m1f here just under two weeks ago as Border Station, who was in the frame in a couple of bumper races last year, was pulled up on his hurdling debut in November and is unlikely to come into his own until tackling fences. The others have little to recommend them.
