      Verdict

PARLESOTHO has been in top form recently and Alan King's runner gets the call ahead of Double Hit and Figurita. The progressive looking pick is given more than a fair mark on her handicap debut after winning over course and distance in a novice event last time. That was her second career win in five starts (the other three runs resulted in runners up places) and with more expected she looks nicely set. Double Hit has also been running consistently well but was beaten by the selection by a neck here in their last outing. There is a swing of one pound in favour of Double Hit but that might not be enough here. Figurita may still be in the clutches of the handicapper and has so far failed to win under this mark 11lbs higher than her last winning rating despite running well. Shenanigan could be potentially well handicapped after running with credit in a much better race than this last time while Danismar may be now back to a competitive mark but Parlesotho is the selection
