Verdict

Trainer Richard Hannon can pick up his fourth win in this maiden fillies' event in eight seasons with PIECE OF MIND. The daughter of Mind Games sets the standard having gone close over both this trip and 7f in recent runs, showing that she handles cut in the process, and she can get it right this time. Lady Paris looks a danger. Unfancied on her Redcar debut she made the frame at 25-1 and should come on for that, while Indian Ridge on the dam's side of her pedigree gives hope that she will go on the ground. Muroona needs to come on plenty for her debut, while newcomers Waltzing Cat and Dubai Queen have nice pedigrees and the market should tell us more about their chances.
