ADORN is preferred in this Listed contest to a healthy shortlist of Mullein, Zuzu, Lesson In Humility and Festoso. Jeremy Noseda's Kyllachy filly was last seen in October when finishing two lengths in fourth place behind Serious Attitude at Newmarket. That form is arguably the best in the race and if she handles this softer ground (first try on it) then she should not be far away with Ryan Moore on board once again. Zuzu was a beaten favourite when last seen at Redcar in October in the Two-Year-Old Trophy; she needs to bounce back to form but she does have form on soft ground. Never Lose and Mullein come here on the back of wins, however the more interesting runner may be fellow winner Lesson In Humility. Karl Burke's filly was impressive when winning a Listed race last time out at Nottingham; she has winning form on soft ground as well and she looks a very progressive filly. Max One Two Three needs to bounce back to form a bit, as do the blinkered-first-time Aine and Pusey Street Lady. Anguz Newz is a hard mare to pass when on song and she must be considered along with Festoso, but we are happy to plump for Adorn as our nomination.
