Verdict

Pension Plan and Ballyculla both arrive on a hat-trick. The pair are rocketing up the weights but Gavin Sheehan takes 3lb off the latter, who likes soft ground. Cross Kennon has been a grand servant to connections and should be thereabouts again while Pineau De Re came up against a well-handicapped rival at Carlisle last Sunday. Hada Men likes it here and can also play a part but Tweedledrum has alternative engagement in the Long Walk at Ascot, where some big place money is on offer. SAUSALITO SUNRISE is an imposing individual and still heading in the right direction having easily got off the mark at Chepstow. He can defy a 9lb rise in the weights.
