Last month's Nottingham fourth, ASCRIPTION, won't have to improve much on his handicap debut to land this. Ed Dunlop's charge looks unlikely to justify his 400,000euros price tag but a race of this nature should be within his capabilities. Silvas Romana patently failed to stay the longer trip at Chester last time but won over a mile at Sandown before that and can figure while Medieval Bishop ended last season with victory at Salisbury and should be winning more races this year. Bitaphon won on fast ground at Nottingham in May and wouldn't want anymore rain while the lightly-raced Exclusive Dancer is another to consider.
