Verdict

FIRTH OF FORTH is our idea of the winner with Or D'Oudairies and All For The Cause among the dangers. A tongue tie is applied for the first time this afternoon but what is clear is that the switch to Jonjo O'Neill has reawakened Firth Of Forth's enthusiasm for the task. Or D'Oudairies has won at a couple at the lesser tracks en route to this engagement. He seems much more reliable for the absence of headgear. All For The Cause has become frustrating over the larger obstacles. His yard did have a winner earlier in the week. Hernando's Boy was campaigned against the likes of Kalahari King and Role On during the course of the winter. Watch My Back needs to be ridden patiently in order to be at his best. His recent run at Musselburgh was frankly too bad to be true. Firth Of Forth looks to have got his act together of late and we stick with him under the circumstances.
