It's difficult to look past MERCHANT Of DUBAI, who loves this trip and fast ground and is only up 4lb for landing a better class handicap than this at Musselburgh last month. Kiama Bay has generally competed at a much higher level and though he hasn't won for two years he's dropped in the ratings as a consequence and can carry his big weight with distinction. Jawaab was in good form last summer though has been running poorly but Zenafire has done better since stepping up in trip and was staying on over 1m5f at Bath last time. Hallstatt isn't badly treated on his victory at Nottingham in May and could prove best of the remainder.
