It's been some time since RISE UP LOTUS last visited the racecourse but Charlie Hills' filly confirmed the positive impression of an unlucky-in-running sixth at Newmarket with victory at Warwick, and she looks the type that can progress again. Low Cut Affair was outclassed in a conditions stakes at Salisbury though she's a particularly speedy starter and she will ask plenty of questions of the others. Thirsk maiden winner, Secret Liaison didn't do a lot wrong on her first foray into handicaps and she should appreciate tonight's return back to Turf. Millar Rose attempts to graduate out of claimers while River Spirit may have had more chances than most, but Mick Channon's team are running well and his filly seems capable of showing her form on any surface.
