      Verdict

It's hard to get too excited about most of these and Ampoule must have a very good chance of scoring. Clive Brittain's gelding has put up some reasonable performances in better company and the drop back in trip from recent runs could well work in his favour. Of the others, Luxor has place claims off his current mark. Fortune Point has been running well but looks vulnerable of topweight. Hurricane Coast could be interesting stepped up in trip. Ruby Legend, who is fairly lightly raced, is two pounds higher than for a Newcastle win over eight furlongs, and can be competitive over this longer trip. For a moment, in a week of surprises, Got To Be Cash, made us pause. She's yet to win a race but is very well-bred on her dam's side and might run well at this trip. Then reality kicked back in a we settled, pretty strongly, for Ampoule.
