Verdict

Greensalt looks to have decent claims after a second at Newcastle and appears to be his yard's first choice on jockey bookings ahead of Vasco Pierji. But WUFF is less exposed and returned a winning favourite in heavy ground at Uttoxeter on his hurdling bow. He gets the vote to land this for Tom George with further progress likely. Garde Ville posted a better effort at Fontwell last time and shares the same official rating as the older Straidnahanna. The former should be thereabouts and also makes more appeal than maiden hurdle winner Clan William.
