Verdict

The Caped Crusader was beaten by the narrowest of margins over 1m4f at Ripon last month and looks likely to start favourite on the back of that run. He should stay this extra distance, but ADVISOR looks to have just as good a chance. Michael Bell's charge finished fifth over today's trip at Sandown last time and this looks looks slightly easier. Drawn Gold won at Salisbury last summer but has shown little so far this season, but Rare Ruby won at Warwick in May and has claims on that form. Cat O'Nine Tails looks a shade high in the weights but could make the frame.
