In depth

Verdict

With no previous form in today's conditions to go on, a chance is taken on the newcomer TANTAMOUNT as a couple of his nine winning relatives scored in testing ground in France. Gold Rally also makes his debut and the 450,000 dollar colt is related to dirt winners in America, as is Marco Botti's newcomer Lelaps. Intuition finished a promising second on his fast ground debut at Warwick and improvement should also be forthcoming from both Touch Gold and Mawaqeet.
