      Verdict

Trip The Light is usually a factor in this grade and can't be ignored, despite top weight. Persian Peril is a model of consistency and only a couple of pounds higher than when second at Thirsk 10 days ago, while The Bells O Peover was the subject of a gamble when third at Epsom two weeks ago and soft ground and first-time blinkers could bring about further improvement. SNOW HILL is less exposed, however, and may just be the one to beat here. He won easily on soft going at Yarmouth in July and didn't appear to appreciate going mainly right-handed at Windsor next time. Chris Wall's grey is worth another chance.
