    Verdict

This is a competitive contest and from a shortlist of Just Rob, Persian Peril and Fever we will side with Just Rob as the pick. The selection run well last time when chasing home Shaloo Diamond at Ripon and the key to his chance today is that he is proven on this ground. He is in good heart at present and this looks like a good bit of placing by connections. Fever should give him the most to think about as he is eased in grade and he has got form with cut in the ground. However, he has yet to prove himself on ground as testing as this and he has been very disappointing recently. Persian Peril is also eased in grade but there is a big question mark over his ability to handle this surface. Intersky Melody won well last time at Redcar in this grade, but he couldn't be strongly fancied to follow-up under these more testing conditions. Just Rob is proven on heavy ground and he should be difficult to beat.
