In race five, Bluebok is selected ahead of Peopleton Brook and Colorus. Bluebok is on a winning mark from last September and comes into this race on the back of a good run, so gets a good shout here. His two stablemates, Spanish Ace, who is just one pound above a winning mark now, and Peopleton Brook, who is now three pounds below a winning course and distance mark from May, have also to be respected. Colorus comes into the reckoning based on the fact that he is now rated three pounds below his winning Thirsk mark from May. Of the others, Pegasus Dancer is lightly raced and should be open to some further improvement, a market move for Argentine could be interesting and Bo McGinty has fallen to an attractive mark, although his best recent runs have come when there has been give in the going. All of which returns us to the selection, which is Bluebok.
