Rochdale is a course and distance winner and is to be respected and faces strong opposition from Lady Bahia and Knot In Wood but can still come out on top. Knot In Wood enjoys the track having won here in emphatic style three outings ago but is eight pounds higher and despite good runs in defeat at York and Ripon he may have to settle for a place again. Lady Bahia has won twice recently north of the border but has also been raised eight pounds for her latest success at Hamilton. That seems harsh and she may find things tougher here. A winner at Newmarket earlier in the season, Rochdale made no mistake here over this trip last time. He is clearly a progressive type and although saddled with another six pounds, his form looks solid and Rochdale gets the vote.
