Verdict

After victories over this trip at Lingfield and Newmarket, BURKE'S ROCK didn't stay when sent over 1m2f at Redcar and returned to form back over a mile at Sandown when runner-up to Jacob Cats. She can progress again and looks the one to be on. Magic Destiny won a maiden here in April and has continued on the upgrade, scoring here and at Doncaster on her last two starts. She's by no means been harshly treated by the assessor and must be a threat. Miss Azeza has yet to follow up her debut victory but has been competing at a decent level and looks as though she'll be suited by this longer trip. Lady Macduff has only run four times and has some improvement in her and Askaud has been running well in competitive handicaps including at Goodwood last time.
