Verdict

A very strong handicap to end proceedings with top weight Double Bluff taken to go close to following up his clear-cut victory in a competitive affair at Goodwood off an 8lb higher mark. But SATELLITE is well regarded and is almost certain to appreciate this step up in trip. The latter still holds an entry in the Great Voltigeur and would have to win this off a mark of 95 to be seriously considered for a race like that. Mount Logan could cope with the weight rise at Newmarket last time but devilment is interesting dropping back a couple of furlongs and appears the best of the Godolphin runners. Montaly is another to consider but this looks a big ask for maiden winner Gwafa, though the grey is still improving.
