Verdict

Eton Forever stayed on well to beat subsequent Diomed Stakes winner Gregorian in a Listed race over course and distance last month with Red Jazz and Pastoral Player close up in third and fourth. Roger Varian's charge is entitled to confirm that form with today's rivals on better terms, though the latter won this last year and generally needs a couple of runs to find his form. But this likely to be run a good gallop with Libranno in the line-up and that will suit PREMIO LOCO. He's approaching the veteran stage now and has been a tad disappointing in a couple of runs this term but a repeat of the form he showed when landing last year's Celebration Mile at Goodwood would be good enough here. Amarillo might not appreciate the going while Monsieur Chevalier has been beaten in Listed company of late, though did finish ahead of Red Duke last time.
