Verdict

Prunes looks to be one of the lesser lights in Sir Mark Prescott's stable and even in receipt of weight from Prigsnov Dancer it is hard to oppose Pat Haslam's colt who gets the vote ahead of Caught In Paradise. The selection stepped up on his debut effort when chasing home Glenluji in a Musselburgh seller last time and has solid claims of going one better in this company. Rio Taffeta is a consistent performer but may again have to settle for a minor role, while Rio Rocket makes only limited appeal first time out. David Nicholls saddles two runners with Catterick second Caught In Paradise preferred to Baby Jack of his duo but Prigsnov Dancer has solid claims and he gets the vote.
