Verdict

A very tricky race to call and it may be worth siding with PROCLAIM to return to winning ways, while Five Star Junior and Zuzu are among the dangers. The selection has already won three times over this trip and was progressive until found out in a big field at York last time. Today's numbers should not be a problem, trip and ground are ideal and with the yard still in good form we will give him another chance. Five Star Junior has become a victim of his own consistency, going up in the weights without winning for five starts. He is good enough to get competitive, though a win would be a bit of a surprise. Quanah Parker has put in three respectable efforts this term without winning, though he looks in need of a favour from the assessor. Zuzu tries a handicap for the first time after a couple of Listed efforts and she looks to have enough ability to make her presence felt with the stable still sending out winners. Noverre To Go would be interesting if supported but we prefer the give another chance to Proclaim.
