Verdict

Only a couple of lengths separated Gores Island and Vivaccio at Cheltenham last month and there should be little between the pair again here. Both will appreciate the drop in class but IFANDBUTWHYNOT is consistent and was second in a better race at Doncaster in February. McCoy's mount finished ahead of Grate Fella over course and distance in December and can confirm that form, despite the revised weights. The equally-unexposed Village Vic may have preferred a faster surface while Ubaltique is proving hard to catch right and Just Cameron might find his big weight thwarts the hat-trick bid.
