    Verdict

YAMAL sets a stiff standard for Inqaath and Hacienda to aim at. The presence of Frankie Dettori has to be taken as a major positive about the five-year-old and from a formbook perspective, his third to Premio Loco at Goodwood is head and shoulders above the rest. The only concern has to be as to whether he can reproduce a level of form first time out. Inqaath was easy to back on debut at Nottingham though made a mockery of that assessment on the racetrack. He looks progressive and will be better over further if his pedigree is any guide. Hacienda ran creditably in the Silver Bowl at Haydock. He could still make up into a solid handicapper though is unfavoured at these weights. Alan Berry has a trio of entries and with prize money for fourth place - he should be able to cover the diesel expenses without threatening the market leaders. Yamal is the class act and we seek not to oppose.
