Verdict

Jeannie Galloway was second in the Ayr Bronze Cup before winning this last year and stablemate Coolminx was entered in the same event yesterday. Spinatrix was also due to run in the Silver Cup on Saturday and may come out best in this if they both turn up but CATWALK makes more appeal. A rare runner for James Fanshawe at this track, she won a soft ground sprint at Thirsk going away on her latest start and further progress is expected. Sovereign Street bids for a fourth straight win but this is her hardest task so far upped in class off a 4lb higher mark while the likely going is a bit of a worry for Shesastar. The remaining three-year-olds have all been beaten off higher marks since winning and will need another step forward to land this.
