        Verdict

        Tyrone Sam, Knot In Wood and Primarily are the trio for the shortlist in a competitive handicap to open the card and the vote is given to Primarily. The selection ran well considering she missed the break on her last outing at Pontefract when she stayed-on strongly to finish third behind African Breeze. She runs off the same mark and with conditions to suit she looks the one to be on. Tyrone Sam ran his best race on turf at Redcar last time when a good second behind Borderlescott. However, he is far from consistent and for that reason we are prepared to take him on. Knot In Wood has place claims on a line through Borderlescott but he just gave the impression last time that the handicapper might have his measure. Bold Cheverak has disappointed on his last two outings but as a consequence he has dropped to a handy mark, and he could go well at a price. However, Primarily was unlucky last time and compensation should await her supporters today.
