Verdict

HOPES N DREAMS is a winner without a penalty having landed an apprentice race at Nottingham last week. In fact, he's effectively 3lb better off with Julie Burke's claim taken into account and looks to have every chance of following up. Circuitous looks his biggest threat if last week's second at Musselburgh heralded a return to form this year and he's preferred to Mark Anthony, who has reverted to type with a couple of poor efforts since going close over 7f in April. The remainder haven't been running much better with possibly Flow Chart the best of them.
