Verdict

SHIFTING GOLD can land the prize at the main expense of Love In The West and Ifatfirst. The selection looks the percentage call here as he won well last time at Hamilton when he got the better of Amazing King. He was doing his best work at the finish that day so he will be suited by this slightly longer trip and he can score again. Love In The West was a disappointment last time but that was over an inadequate 7f and this longer trip will suit. She has to be considered on her handicap debut. Ifatfirst gained his sole turf success here but he was disappointing last time at Musselburgh and on a form line through Amazing King he looks held today by our selection. Prince Rhyddarch has shown all his best form on testing ground and he is readily opposed, leaving Shifting Gold as the one to beat.
