In depth

Verdict

Nufoudh, New Destiny, Jack Rackham and Mood Music form the short list here and we will take Nufoudh to score. Neither Jack Rackham nor Mood Music have shown a sparkling level of form so far, though both have been placed and merit some respect. But Mark Johnston does well here and Nufoudh is bred to do well at this trip at two. He should also handle the fast ground well, and provided he handles this slightly unusual track then he looks to have every chance with the yard going well. New Destiny is another debutante to consider coming from his astute connections. However, h is more likely to need this and be better still at three, so he is passed over in favour of Nufoudh, who is taken to make a winning debut.
