Verdict

Pokfulham won last year's renewal but is 16lb higher this time around having been raised 7lb for his recent victory at Newcastle. He may find that beyond him and a chance is taken on LA BACOUETTEUSE. The latter found the shorter trip against him at Ripon last week but scored over today's distance at Musselburgh before that. He makes more appeal than Polytrack winner Cadgers Brig, who is having his first start since February and may need the outing, while the remaining pair arrive out of sorts.
