In depth

Verdict

This looks quite competitive and the vote is given to Motu, over Dispol Isle and Anthemion. Dispol Isle won well last time out when beating our selection at Musselburgh but there was only a length and a half between them at the finish that day and on these terms we think the placings can be reversed. The fact that Motu has a slightly better draw is another thing in his favour as is this extra furlong. Anthemion is a course and distance winner but he has been off the track since August and might just need the run to sharpen him up, although if he is fit enough to do himself justice he will not be far away at the finish. Jordans Elect is another courrse and distance winner and he has a good draw so it would be no surprise to see him go well at a price, but Motu is in good form and gets the nomination.
