        Verdict

        A competitive claimer gets us under way here and although good recent form is limited, some top yards are represented and for us Richard Fahey's STONECRABSTOMORROW gets the verdict ahead of Dream Theme and Makshoof. The selection has been in superb form this year and hasn't placed outside the minors in seven starts, since returning from a lengthy spell away from the track. He is yet to win on the turf but he put in a solid effort at Musselburgh last time, is in great spirits of late and should he continue this fine form then a win here looks imminent. David Nicholls' Dream Theme ran well in defeat at Southwell last time and there was more than enough in his display to show he can win races of this nature and this drop back to 6f should help. He has a habit of missing the break though and that could cost him here. Makshoof hasn't been seen since Boxing Day last year. He was in a decent vein of form before the break and has recorded all of his four career wins over 6f.
