Verdict

QUEST OF COLOUR (NAP) improved for the step up to 1m2f to open her account on her handicap debut at Redcar. Richard Fahey's filly can go in again in this company raised only 3lb. Notts So Blue got off the mark at Ayr last time but will find this tougher off a 6lb higher mark while Shiftin Bobbins was still beaten a long way when runner-up at Ayr. The remainder are struggling at present with Tortoise looking in the handicapper's grip and 7f winner Neuf Des Coeurs remaining out of sorts.
