      Verdict

      COUNTRYWIDE FLAME ran out a clear-cut winner over C&D on his penultimate start. He's 7lb higher as a result but, if anything, this looks less competitive and he can go in again. Runner-up Silver Tigress re-opposes on better terms but never looked like catching Kevin Ryan's charge last time and the returning Fire Fighter could prove a bigger threat. He takes a big step up in trip here and it would be difficult to find a more impressive strike rate than his trainer can boast at this track. Urban Kode looks best of the rest though as yet to prove he stays the distance.
