In depth

Verdict

INWOOD has the form to land this handicap at the expense of Beat The Bell and Came Back. The selection travels from his native Ireland after performing well on the all weather at Dundalk. He won off a mark of 73 before finishing second off a seven pound higher mark. He still looks capable of winning races, has a nice racing weight to carry and is therefore difficult to oppose. Beat The Bell shot up the weights in the autumn after landing at hat-trick of wins on the all weather. He is now twenty pounds higher in the weights as a consequence and has been beaten fair and square in his last three races so is now worth treating with caution. Came Back has been on the move from Kevin Ryan to Jeremy Gask and now in the hands of Anne Stockell after his wins in sellers at Southwell last month. This will be a step up in grade so improvement will be needed. So for the winner we return to Inwood.
