    Verdict

DAWSON CREEK is the speculative call ahead of Sir Billy Nick and Moon Crystal. Although fairly exposed elsewhere, Dawson Creek might just find this new track reawakening his enthusiasm for the task - although he'd hardly need that to happen given a recent win and a second placing in the locker. The booking of Chris Caitlin is a positive. Sir Billy Nick appeared useful earlier in the season. The words last chance saloon appear appropriate at this juncture for his beleagured backers. Moon Crystal has had a sizeable absence to contend with. A half-sister to Pillar Of Hercules, she could be anything. Triple Dream is on handicap introduction for John Dunlop. Convivial Spirit has gradually crept up the weights for his consistency. Le Chiffre is useful in claiming grades. He probably didn't need to be ridden quite so aggressively last time out and as such, he'll invariably be vulnerable to finishers or improvers. Siren Sound and Ben Ami reoppose having met in a recent contest over course-and-distance. The former appeared to be worried out of it on that occasion but it would be no surprise to see her build upon that effort. Dawson Creek isn't the most bombproof of selections but in current heart, he should give supporters a good run for their money.
