Francis Du Mesnil hasn't won for two years but is so consistent that he continues to climb the ratings. CLARKEY holds Idarah on their run at Listowel a year ago and returned to form in no uncertain terms on the same track a couple of weeks ago. Some rain would aid his cause but he's in good enough form for this and holds Banna Man on that last run. Venture Lazarus pulled up in three point-to-points but provided a real shock when landing a beginners' chase at the Galway Festival and is something of an unknown quantity here. King High has the form for this at his best but is better over further.
