Verdict

SCOTSIRISH hasn't quite gone on from beating Snowy Morning in a Grade 2 last January but he's been competing at the highest level and his close third to Big Zeb in the Grade 1 Paddy Power Dial-A-Bet at Leopardstown would be good enough for this. Follow The Plan and Roberto Goldback battled out the finish of the Grade 2 Kinloch Brae at Thurles with the former gaining a shock success. The winner was receiving 5lb that day but his penalty puts him on levels here with the runner-up who should take revenge. Rubi Light's second to Golden Silver in a Fairyhouse Grade 2 looks top form but it was a falsely run race and he may be flattered. Chasing Cars kept finding ways of getting beat until landing a novices' handicap at Punchestown in April and though this will be his first run back the stable have no problem producing one in top shape.
