In depth

Verdict

A moderate contest in which the veteran Good Fella gets an opportunity to get back on the winning trail after showing he was no back number with a fine effort behind Sword Fish at Fairyhouse last week. However, PIGEON CREEK also ran well a week ago when runner-up at Cork and he's progressing fast enough to make a winning handicap debut. The winning hunter Good Egg made a decent handicap debut at Navan though, this looks a bit tougher, while Spiker The Biker has never won in 23 starts under Rules despite a couple of decent efforts.
