Verdict

Bunreacht and Island In The Sun are two who are likely have improved from two to three. Orgilgo Bay has the best form, finishing second in a Group 2 at the Curragh in September. He also ran in three Listed races in his first season but was beaten in a handicap on his fourth start and is starting to look a little exposed. That accusation can certainly be levelled at Ralston Road, disappointing when favourite at Listowel on his final start last year. EVERGLADES ISLAND was very green on his debut at Leopardstown in August and forced to race wide throughout. The Montjeu colt will have learned plenty from that, however, and should make up into a decent three-year-old. He can take this ahead of unraced stablemate Royal Irish Hussar and Dermot Weld's newcomer Make The News.
