Verdict

Silvanus has won his last two starts in similar company beating a subsequent winner at Pontefract last time but Fair Value is upped a grade having scored at Epsom last week. Cadeaux Pearl is another Epsom winner but that was back in April while Noverre To Go finished runner-up at Newmarket recently with Kingsgate Choice and R Woody behind. Cruise Tothelimit has won two of his last three starts including a convincing win at Haydock last time while Hamoody won this off a 5lb higher mark in 2010. The latter's stablemate FITZ FLYER is of more interest today, however, as this is a much easier task than he's faced so far this season and a repeat of last Saturday's close-up sixth to Barnet Fair at Ascot will see him go very close.
