        Verdict

Sabrina Brown has the scope to win more handicaps, and is selected over Idle Power, Waterside and Master Robbie. This is yet another wide-open event, but Sabrina Brown did enough when second over the course and distance a month ago to convince us that she is worth sticking with. Toby Balding's filly, who was lumbered with a penalty after opening her account at Chepstow, found only the progressive New Order too strong in the closing stages, and as long as she acts on the faster ground, must surely be in with a shout. Idle Power surprised connections with the ease of his latest success at Lingfield, and as he remains well treated on his best form, is another for the short-list. However, he meets Waterside on five-pound worse terms for a seven-length hammering by Gary Moore's contender over the course and distance at the end of August. Concer Eto and Taranaki have a squeak on past form, while Master Robbie's string of duck-eggs disguise the fact that he has won some decent handicaps in the past. He has gone off the boil, but with the stable firing in the winners again, he is worth considering for a place at least. Sabrina Brown lines up in more form than most though, and is the pick.
