In depth

Verdict

Camenero makes plenty of appeal and looks weighted to get the better of Grantley Adams, who sets the standard for the official assessor at present. Sounds Simila and Bee Seventeen are others that can be worth noting in the betting, while the likes of Chronomatic and Countrywide Belle already look in need of at least another furlong. Bee Seventeen showed promise at Epsom last time out and should handle the undulating nature of the course. He could be good value to make the frame. Sounds Simila won well at Leicester earlier in the month and, as the form has subsequently been franked, she can also looks set for a leading role. Grantley Adams stayed on in good style when winning at Hamilton and looks to be thriving on being kept busy. However, it will take a good effort from him to concede 2lb to the in-form Camenero at this stage of their development and it will come as no surprise if Willie Muir's charge can rid himself of the maiden tag today.
