Verdict

It would be easy to side with Eager To Bow given the paucity of worthwhile recent form from amongst the opposition but it wouldn't entirely surprise if there happened to be a turn-up. GRAND VIZIER is the one that we're going to take the likely favourite on with as he shaped well on his return from a short break, represents a yard in form, is well treated and has form with cut in the ground. The headgear may transform Whisper Wind, it's interesting to see John Fahy aboard Giulietta Da Vinci and Joe Fanning on Ymir but that trio have enough to prove and Hulcote Rose and Daddy's Gift have stronger claims on more recent evidence but not as strong as Eager To Bow who has posted a string of creditable performances and remains feasibly handicapped.
