URBAN POET is choicely bred and he looks to have terms in his favour to land this Listed contest on his debut for Godolphin with Mourilyan looking the danger and King Of Wands retains our attention too. A winning debutant when with Mark Johnston the pick stepped up on that to run a cracked in the Group Three Gordon Stakes here when running on well to narrowly miss out on a runners-up spot. The form could be better from that but he likes quick ground and should benefit from the step up in trip. Mourilyan is a little quirky but pushed Schiaparelli all the way in the Goodwood Cup two starts ago. He was a little disappointing at Newbury last time when stepping down in distance and he looks to have a bit to do giving a stone to the selection. King Of Wands has looked progressive since being upped to this trip and his wide margin success in a decent Newbury handicap last time was another move in the right direction. He'll need to find more again though to score at this level. Free Agent has a bit of stamina to prove and is yet to live up to his two-year-old promise so this listed race should go to the unexposed Urban Poet.
