In depth

Verdict

The ground again looks to be the key here, and of the leading contenders, we take Kenmore to come good on it, with Sea Hunter, Tax Free and Coup D'Etat others who should go well. The lightly-raced Kenmore came good at Nottingham when last seen out in April and Barry Hills has given him plenty of time to come to himself. This step up to seven furlongs should suit, he handles juice in the ground and he gets the vote. Sea Hunter thrives on his racing and is in cracking form, but the ground and another 4lb rise will make this tougher. Tax Free has won on good to soft and this is his optimum trip. He is up 7lb for his latest win, but very much going the right way and he can lay down the biggest challenge to our selection, while Coup D'Etat has the ability to be thereabouts, though the ground is a definite worry where he is concerned. Our choice here then is Kenmore.
