From a shortlist that contains Illustrious Blue, Youmzain, Genre, Abstract Art and Art Historian, we selected Youmzain as our idea of the winner. Illustrious Blue has finished second in both of his starts to date, and he has to be considered, but Youmzain's Yarmouth third to Renderoc last time was boosted by that horse winning a nursery off 76 during the week. That probably rates as just about as good a piece of form that can be offered up by this field and, as such, he has to be considered, as does Genre, who has been given a rating of 84 based on three promising maiden starts. Abstract Art and Art Historian have both shown some promise to date and it is not beyond the realms of possibility that they can be competitive today. World In Action has a bit to find based on Renderoc form, while although interestingly bred, Isphahan was acquired cheaply, although give him the once over in the betting. This returns is to the selection, which is Youmzain.
