    Verdict

Show Winner can give Jeremy Noseda another winner, with Muntada, Moonlit Skies and Corviglia taken to chase him home. The Jeremy Noseda stable has been cleaning up in the bigger juvenile contests this term, but the year older Show Winner can also pay his way, starting with a victory here in a race that should take little winning. The son of Mtoto was being pushed along from some way out when staying on for second at Sandown 18 days ago, and gave the impression that ideally he would be suited by further than 10 furlongs. However it is hard to escape his claims in a moderate affair such as this, so he should find the necessary improvement to open his account. Muntada was made too much use of on his first try over the trip at Beverley last time, fading out of contention after making much of the running, and is better judged on an earlier effort here when third to Summer's Eve. That form puts him in with a chance of reaching the frame at least if he stays the trip. Moonlit Skies is a half-brother to Wareed so should have no stamina problems, but cannot be backed with confidence, given the indifferent form shown by his stable, plus the fact that this is his debut. Corviglia is a Nashwan filly and is best watched, but any market support should be heeded, while Montchara is certain to come on for the run. Show Winner is the pick.
